As an Artist and Mentor, DaraLyn McColl, began providing art sessions  after school, summer art and weekends by appointment for artists in search of more Art opportunities in 2010.

DaraLyn works with ages meeting artists where they are and mentored based on their art interests and goals.  DaraLyn provides  the community artist the opportunity to plan their artwork while directing them to slow down, observe and grow their personal style through open dialogue and collaborative problem-solving. DaraLyn believes that all artists learn more about their chosen medium and proper art techniques during the guided process. She offers a marvelous, relaxing and safe environment for students to explore, experiment and meet their goals. Art supplies needed are included in the class. Fee $35/1.5 hours

As an Educator, DaraLyn enjoys creating alternative learning opportunities for the academically disengaged student within a school setting. Upon inquiry she will meet with the student one-on-one and assist them in understanding their unique learning styles as well as their personal and academic strengths. Workin with DaraLyn within these unique learning opportunities have proven to build students self-esteem, increase their academic engagement in general education classes, identify and teach executive functioning and time management skills, but the most obvious skill that is immediately revealed is the creation of  positive student-to-adult and student-to-student relationships.

As a Professional, DaraLyn McColl can also assist you with visual communications and provide a marketing consultation. Since 2002, she has assisted many not-for-profit, corporations and small businesses as a contract freelance graphic artist. DaraLyn's clients receive personal and friendly customer service/marketing collateral consultation, competitive market rates, exceptional quality,
​press-ready finals sent to the printer of choice, and all forms of digital/web files provided with every project. She will also back your files up for future needs and can assist and provide print bidding services for those clients without a printing service established.
